To camp at Beaver Valley, campers must meet the following criteria:
- Must be part of a scouting group or small youth organization.
- Must have an adult leader (preferably two) with previous camping experience and knowledge to avoid injury.
- Groups must be capable of carrying their own gear to and from the campsites. (Roads are closed during winter months)
- All sites are outdoors. Groups must be appropriately prepared.
- The historic cabin is available for day use and as a temporary gathering place. It is not reservable for overnight stays or accommodations.
